Likely my favorite poem of all time. Its imagery, though very simple, is unparalleled. Those of you that don't know Merwin's work, check it out. He's a fan-fucking-tastic writer.

I've read this over now a couple times, and I really like it. More so every time I read it. Is there a particular book of his you'd recommend?
In all honesty.... anything I've ever read by Merwin I've loved. Any of his collections are going to be worth the investment. You can likely find most of his works online for free, though.
